Welcome to A Reformed Life!

God has done wonderful things in my 50 years of life. Through reading, studying and meditating on God’s Word, He has done much to reform my thinking in many, many areas of life. I invite you to join me in this journey as I share what God has done and challenge you to follow the Lord in all areas of life.

God uses various means to reform our beliefs and actions. He uses the family, the local church, faithful believers and trials to conform us to His image. The single most influential thing God has used in reforming my life has been the simple reading of His Word. Nothing else has had an impact me in so many areas as the consistent, daily reading of all of the Bible.

I made a commitment to God to read the Bible in its totality every year. I made that commitment over 16 years ago, and by His grace, I have been faithful. It is through the consistent reading of His Word that the Holy Spirit has used to convict me and challenge me to live more fully for Him, and to apply all the Bible to all of life. As the cry of the reformation “Sola Scriptura,” so the cry of my heart is to apply the Holy Scriptures to all areas of life…and to invite, challenge and encourage others to do the same.
